A member of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, Rogov, reported that forests caught fire in the ZAESV area of the Zaporozhye NPP (ZAES), forests caught fire.

This was announced in his Telegram by a member of the main council of the regional administration, Vladimir Rogov.

He attached satellite images to the message, which show smoke near the station.

Rogov also said that as a result of provocations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a fire started in the area of the NPP, which caused a short circuit on power lines.

Earlier, the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, hoped for the speedy suppression of all points of fire at the Zaporozhye NPP. The senator expressed confidence that the Russian military "knows what they are doing" and "will do without advice."

On August 25, it was reported that the safety systems of the NPP were triggered after a power outage in the region. The head of the city administration, Alexander Volga, said that specialists promptly restored the power supply. In Ukraine, they said that the station was completely disconnected from the network for the first time.
